Driving Directions
From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE): Hotel Russo Palace is 30 minutes away by water taxi.
Getting there. Frequent water buses leave from the airport for Venice Lido. From Venice's Santa Lucia train station, ACTV water buses also leave for the Lido. Private water taxis are available and take guests to the hotel's private jetty, but are typically very expensive. Guests with cars can also reach the hotel via ferry boat. Parking is available at the hotel's nearby car park.
Getting around. The hotel is on Piazzale San Nicolo. St Mark's Square is 15 minutes away by water bus. Venice itself is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.
