Location. Family run for four generations, the Hotel Saturnia & International in Venice, Italy, is 250 metres from St Mark's Square and the Grand Canal. The hotel faces one of Venice's widest streets, where shops include Bulgari, Prada and Gucci. Vallaresso waterbus stop is 200 metres away and the hotel is 13 kilometres from Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). Hotel Features. The Hotel Saturnia & International is set in a 14th century palazzo, with a terracotta exterior, green shutters and balconies. Venetian touches such as carved wood, marble and Murano glass are displayed throughout the hotel. There is a sunbathing terrace on the fourth floor, with panoramic Venice views. The hotel offers direct access to the canal.
Modelled on the dining room of a Renaissance era ship, the candelit La Caravella restaurant serves traditional Venetian specialities and seafood. The interior features marble floors, leather chairs and a large safe from the original La Caravella ship. In summer, the courtyard offers alfresco dining. The adjoining La Caravalla Bar features a vintage wine bottle showcase and wood panelled walls. Complimentary breakfasts and room service are available.

Driving Directions
From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE)b> Distance to Hotel Saturnia & International is 13 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. ATVO buses run every 30 minutes to Piazzale Roma in the city centre. The journey time is 20 minutes and single tickets cost 3 EUR. The ACTV number 5 bus also goes to Piazzale Roma. The number 15 bus runs between the airport and Venice Mestre train station. At Pizzale Roma, water buses (vaporetto) are available. A free bus service links the airport terminal to the airport jetty; from here, regular Alilaguna boats leave for the city. Single tickets cost 10 EUR. Private water taxis are available, but are typically very expensive. Prices are all subject to change. The hotel's nearest waterbus stop is Vallaresso, 200 metres away. After getting off the waterbus, walk away from the canal along on Calle Vallaresso. Turn left at the first street and carry on, going over a little bridge. The street widens and becomes Calle Larga Via XII Marzo. The hotel is on the right toward the end of this road.
Getting around. The Hotel Saturnia & International is located on Via XXII Marzo. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.
